Over dubbing cartoons to make them naughty never gets old. Or it hasn’t yet.

Small story, then to bed. I am notoriously not aware of popular music. I usually listen to public radio or daydream. So I didn’t really know the Black Eyed Peas until I say the Alanis Morrisette version last spring:

And I was like, “WTF?” So then I watched all the Black Eyed Peas videos. And I enjoyed them, but at the same time I was disgusted with myself. I can’t figure out whether they are being tongue in cheek, though I doubt they are. Anyway, here we go for referance:

And just in case you wanted to know all the worlds, this version has subtitles. Don’t blame me if you bang your head on your keyboard after reading the lyrics. Consider yourself warned. I don’t want no drama.

ETA: Around the 2 minute mark on the Black Eyed Peas version of my humps it looks like the ladies are wearing tails. Turns out it’s just a towel/scarf..but I see this as a sign that furries are entering mainstream media.

It’s a very quiet rainy day and somehow the extremely loud video POWERTHIRST I’d chosen for this morning didn’t seem like a great idea. So instead I chose this charming love story by the same folks who brought us “Bathtime at Clerkenwell“:

You may remember Weebls from such internet classics as “Badger Badger Badger” and “Only in Kenya“. Now the flash geniuses have brought us a new song devoted to my favorite fruit, the Mango!

Their animation style and songs are so simple, yet so genius. There is something magical in the simple sentence, “Mango, Mango, Mango Mango Mango, MANNNNGOOOOO!”I’m going to be singing this all day! yay!

I find this animation totally fascinating.  I could watch it again and again!

Whoa, I’m still posting motivational music to get myself going for school.  You may be familiar with this song, but probably not with the new music video.

Bonus fact: When I’m developing black and white film, this is what I sing to myself while I shake the film canister.

Sorry for no posting yesterday. My husband had surgery and we had some non life threatening but extremely alarming complications.  Not to get into the gory details…we’ll just say that the details were in fact gory.

Back to school today for the last day of school, and I need to get pumped up! What better way to get pumped up in the morning than an upbeat song with 8-bit animation! Make sure to stick around for the surprise ending…YEAH!!!
